I came in over the weekend and banged on my sample piece so we can start off a little further down the line. This is probably around five or six rounds of annealing then hammering. I did not pickle between each round but you can if you want to. This is your sample for the course so do not be afraid to mess around. Try to get comfortable with the process.
Remember on Thursday bring in a container from Savers or the thrifts store and your big juicy brains. Research flatware! We will be looking at a slideshow first thing and then we will design some cardboard mockups. You should bring in a pair of scissors or an x-acto and cutting board. We will be testing balance, shape and ergonomics.
