Sinking

Project #2 NESTING
For your second project you will make three small bowls/vessels. They will all need to nest into each other. You may choose to do one plate, one bowl and one cup or two plates and one bowl or even three bowls. Two out of three vessels will need a decorative element. This decorative element could be a textured surface, a scalloped lip, pour spout or a flattened bottom.   
All three bowls should be shallow containers and should not have vertical walls (if you are going to do a "cup" make it more like a small tea bowl). NO SOLDERING. All portions of this projects should be hammered, stamped, filed, cut or planished. 
Start with sketches.  Go to target or a home goods store and take photos of bowls.
